SECRET INVASION has ended. The Skrull armies have been routed and destroyed. In the wake of his battle in aid of Thor and Asgard, Beta Ray Bill has departed Earth once more, to bring justice and order to the stars. But when Bill becomes savior of a space-faring alien colony, he'll discover that perhaps – just perhaps -- it's possible to be too much of a hero. Soaring action and adventure starring your favorite horse-faced Demigod of Thunder, by Kieron Gillen (NEW UNIVERSAL: 1959) and Dan Brereton (GOD-SIZED THOR)! 40 PGS./
Date Available: 04/15/2009
BONUS REVIEW by Stephen Banas

Beta Ray Bill, ladies and gentlemen! I found this one-shot to be quite well constructed and very much worth your time. Following right on the heels of the exceptional Secret Invasion: Thor mini-series, this issue explains what Beta Ray Bill has been up to since we last saw him leave for outer space. The Asgardian’s had plenty to do, as it turns out. In between vanquishing foul space demons and saving pacifist robots, Bill stumbled across a sect of surviving Skrulls (say that five times fast) who have turned their back on “He” and set their sights on Bill as their new savior. Solid action and some great art that drives home the deep tones made this an absolute winner. Can’t wait to see what happens in June!
I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
