THIS IS IT!! The truly shocking conclusion to THE comic event hit of the year. And you are not prepared for what will happen in these pages. Heroes will rise, heroes will fall...and the Marvel Universe will, and we're not joking, NEVER be the same again!

REVIEW by Brian Fisher

The final issue of Marvel’s big event of 2008 raises a lot of questions. Does it shake things up? Does it ever! Do the heroes win? I guess it depends on your definition of “win.” Was it good? Was it worth it? Well, seeing everything as a whole, seeing it at its conclusion, I would say a resounding yes. If nothing else, like all the other recent Marvel event books it does definitely change the status quo of the Marvel Universe in a big way. I won’t spoil much for you here but, suffice it to say heroes die, heroes are made, and heroes go on the run from the law… but not the ones you’d necessarily expect. The series, at times did have its weak points, I’ll admit, but it did satisfy the one unbreakable law of the event book: change the status quo. And this change is going to have long lasting effects across the Marvel U.
I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
