Welcome to the brand-new, all-fun adventures of Billy Batson as the World's Mightiest Mortal — Captain Marvel, from acclaimed writer/artist Mike Kunkel (Herobear)! Thanks to a magical rift created when Captain Marvel battled Mr. Mind’s monsters, 14-year-old Theo Adam has been returned to Earth from banishment. For Theo, there’s just one problem: He can’t remember the magic word that gives him the powers of Black Adam. There’s only one solution: follow Captain Marvel and get the word out of his alter ego, 11-year-old Billy Batson.
BONUS REVIEW by BRIAN FISHER

I've heard a lot of complaints that books like Teen Titans Go and Justice League Unlimited were being replaced by books like Tiny Titans and Super Friends. The main complaint being that the former titles didn't dumb down their scripts and content to pander to younger kids like the current ones do. I think that those readers that have been complaining will be silenced a bit by this book. Surprisingly intelligent dialogue paired with fantastic artwork and a fun-as-heck story highlight BBatMoS. This is a book that anyone who liked Jeff Smith's Shazam and the Monster Society of Evil series should definitely pick up!
I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
