$9.99
VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
by Steve Niles & Berni Wrightson
VIRGIN INCENTIVE COVER

Legendary comic book artist Bernie Wrightson inks his own work for the first time in more than two decades! And joining Wrightson on this noir horror tale is the writer who has revitalized both genres in comics, Steve Niles. Detective Coogan knows well that there are some pretty shady freaks out there in the big city… but he doesn’t know that some of those freaks ain’t human. He learns it the hard way, and ends up on the wrong side of a bullet, all in the first issue of this new series that mixes horror and noir into a tightly wound nightmare of twists and turns.
BONUS REVIEW by JOHN ROBINSON

Detective noir horror title written by Steve Niles, features artwork by Berni Wrightson. First time Berni has INKED his own work in over 2 decades, and it shows. While not up to the caliber of his 1970's work, Berni inking himself makes a BIG DIFFERENCE. There's some really nice panels that make you feel like you've found an old Wrightson CREEPY or DC Horror book from that you'd never seen before. Dead guy has to find out who killed himself, stories okay. You'll mostly be there for the art. I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams
