Calexit #1 3rd printing

California secedes after the 2016 election. Two years later, the U.S. government decides it should be taken back. That's the fairly simple premise of Calexit. It isn't intended to be an actual or accurate commentary on the specifics of our current political climate. One character has a talking robot bird, another a terminator-esque metal leg -these things won't be around next year.

Political unrest will. While there may not be a monster like Father Rossie (he's the Herr Starr of the book), there are people with bad intentions and no clue of what comprises true patriotism, or true freedom. I don't know that conservatives will have any interest in this book. They're presented as the bad guys, unabashedly so. I think its only fair to point that out no one is presented as truly being 'right'.
