Saw this one out there, and didn’t know who he was. And like any old-fashioned #1 comic, this explains him back-and-forth. It’s Archie, so writer Dan Parent keeps it civil, and understanding, which in this day and age stands out immediately. But I like the subtle current social question he brings in at the end, which he never ventures to flat-out say, let alone take a side on; it’s all about Kevin, you know, and that seems fair enough. This comic, in itself, shows the proper Archie-restraint, and stands-out because it shows willingness to hold this discussion without much hoopla. Good comic, though I would like some additional Archie goofiness. It is still Archie comics, after all…
