BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

Stan Sakai is a master visual storyteller, a gifted cartoonist, and a veritable genius when combining words and pictures. He's been working on his epic Usagi Yojimbo for decades now, using anthropomorphic animals to tell serious stories of Emperors and demons, war, love, and loss. This issue IS new reader friendly, starting a new story line around Bunraku, the art of Japanese puppetry, and why a certain troop might seem more lifelike than other touring groups.

COMPLETELY COINCIDENTALLY, Mr. Sakai will be doing a signing this Saturday from 10:00 am to noon in our Murietta store in California. Why not enjoy some sunshine with one of the comics' working greats?

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
