Thor Ages of Thunder #1

Thor Ages of Thunder #1

$8.00
VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
Written by MATT FRACTION Art by PATRICK ZIRCHER Cover by MARKO DJURDJEVIC
As the Mighty Thor reclaims his rightful spot in the Marvel Pantheon, we join Matt Fraction and Patrick Zircher for a special examining the triumphs and tragedies that have befallen the God of Thunder across the eons. As the things he holds dearest are threatened by unimaginable forces of evil, Thor must rise up, again and again, to hold the line against terror and chaos as only the God of Thunder can!
REVIEW by Brian Fisher

I nominate Matt Fraction to take over on the regular Thor title whenever Straczynski decides to leave. And quite frankly either of the artists, Pat Zircher or Khari Evans would be a worthy successor to Olivier Copiel. Two great stories of Norse mythology are presented here under deft and skilled hands that have crafted the best Marvel book of this week. Those of you who've been complaining about the current Thor story being too "real-world" and not "mythic" enough should be silenced by this great one-shot issue.
I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
