While a well done story, I was hoping for more. The tale of Superman and Superson returning to save Captain Storm of the Losers from Dinosaur Island is definitely up my alley. The concept here would have made great two-parter in the DC Presents title back in the day. Unfortunately, a lot of backstory is left up to the reader to go back and read older issues of Superman. Another problem is that the main story is cut short by the addition of two shorter tales. Both of them are interesting in their own right but there is no relatability between the stories. Several plot points seem to be left hanging on purpose and while I appreciate the need to set up future plot points, I'm annoyed that it has to be done via an oversized special and not in the regular title. However, with all my nitpicking, this still was a great read and gave some closure to those classic war stories of the 60's and 70's.

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
