Superman #4 (2018) foil

$3.99
VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
(W) Brian Michael Bendis
(A/CA) Joe Prado, Ivan Reis
As Superman fights to protect the world from Rogol Zaar and the Kryptonian convicts trapped inside the Phantom Zone, the greatest minds on Earth devise a risky plan to return the planet from the deadly prison. With the Earth continuing to crack and crumble and its greatest heroes fall, can the Man of Steel hold the line and give his adopted world a chance to escape?
Date Available: 10/10/2018
BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

There are a vocal group who hate Bendis' Superman because the Rebirth version was so so good. One doesn't have to negate the other, and his run on the eponymous title has been energetic, entertaining, and furiously beautiful. Ivan Reis continues his career best work here featuring a confused Adam Strange, a confused Atom, confused Flash, confused Superman, and even a confused Jax (destroyer of Krypton's moon).

Add to all that a discussion with Jon where the topic of removing heads to solve problems is broached with honesty and humor and you've got another winner.

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
