'SUICIDE PLANET' part one! Far away in a distant solar system, a world stands on the brink of destruction, much as Krypton did so many years ago. As Superman and son venture off into space to help, an unexpected adversary stops our heroes dead in their tracks: these people wish to die.

One of the bigger successes of DC Rebirth has to be the Superman titles. Always a huge determining factor, recent Superman books have used supporting characters wisely. Jon, apparently a bad idea on film, continues to be an engaging new addition to Superman cannon in the comics (even when not hanging out with Damien). If you think you'll be interested in a Superman book by Bendis, you should stop waiting and at least take a look at the Sfamily books now, as they're solid stories, even without Superstar creators attached. Highly recommended for those who miss Nirvana, tracking wheels on VHS machines, and your (no doubt dead by now) Tamagotchi.

I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams
