So I only read Strange #1 because I was told I might care about the last page, Clea as a side character is fine but I have zero interest in reading her misadventures as a main character. I was "rewarded" with dialogue that reminded me of 1980s Claremont, overly verbose, and a special Asgardian surprise on the last page. 4 weeks later I read issue #2. Yep...sigh, I sure did. The dialogue was not nearly as clunky but the art and story were. See the last page of issue #1 made me think new speculator bait guy and Asgard guy were on the same side attacking. Nope. Not at all. They are fighting each other. And Clea fights them both. For reasons. I think. The artwork reminded me of early, early Patrick Zircher/ Jim Balent but not quite as polished. Many panels needed a relook, not because they were gorgeous but because I could not tell what was happening. The computer colors did not help at all either. Storywise... another Asgard tie-in for 1 page is not followed up on nor seems to be a thing that will ever be talked about again. 1st Asgard tie-in literally could have been any character as far as the plot goes so why a 2nd tie-in? I don't know. Then I needed another wordy exposition dump to find out who/what/why scalper bait guy was. And the exposition dump came from a Wong. Wong was not there at the battle and literally is "paraphrasing" what Clea just told him, for us the reader. Yes Wong "paraphrasing" what Clea told him is still extremely long and expansive to the point that I already forgot the purpose of speculator man. I can't imagine how Wong did not turn to dust in the time that it must have took her to tell him originally. And then we are treated to a totally surprise less ending. So unsurprising, that maybe it was because of the 4 times Clea mentions something like it might happen in the proceeding pages that it was not supposed to be a surprise? I dunno. Someone else will need to clue me in on more Asgardian related business, which does not seem like it was ever going past this issue, otherwise I'm out. Still I like to think that maybe by typing more words than are necessary to get my points across that maybe you as the reader of this review will get some enjoyment out of it. Maybe but only time will tell us that dear reader.

I give it 5 out of 10 Grahams
