IN THIS ISSUE…HOPE DIES.
The REBEL FLEET is completed. It's maGNificent. It's beautiful. It's secret.
But no secret is kept for long from DARTH VADER.
The most epic story yet done in a STAR WARS comic begins here. Prepare to witness the Empire TRULY strike back. Rated T

Date Available: 07/04/2018
BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

Star Wars issue #50. The last time Marvel got there, we had a bit of an ESB reunion with Archie Goodwin, Al Williamson and Carlos Garzon, a nearly painted cover from Tom Palmer, and a movie level event. Hot stuff. How about this time?

Bleak, dire, despondent. Betrayal from here to Hoth, consequences, and Sithy goodness resulting in stacks upon stacks upon stacks of Rebel corpses. Why, there might be so few left that they'd all fit in the Falcon. People seem to like that sort of thing now. Here's how it could have been done and not lose half your audience.

From great failures come great successes. Let's hoping finding a cold planet happens for them soon. That's what counts as success after this.

Fans of Admiral Ozzel! Stay for the back up story. He's not good at his job!

Fans of Klimpt! Enjoy Travis Charest's Klimpt inspired blueprint cover. Its much nicer than the X-Men Red ones he's been drawing. Why wasn't Luke on the cover of X-Men Red Five?

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
