And the tribes find themselves on the brink of war and the edge of annihilation.

The second volume of Squarriors starts here. The story is a bit dense so this #1 is sometimes confusing to the new reader. Basically, there's a lot of terminology to muddle through if you haven't read the Volume 1. In fact, this book would be tough to recommend if it weren't for the artwork. Ashley Witter has the goods. The book is so pretty that you might want to check out the previous run just so you know what the attractive pictures are talking about... Highly recommended for fans of funny animal books that are in no way funny.

I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams
