BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

The weight of the world presses down on Peter Parker in Spider-Man Life Story #5. There are changes his company can't avoid. There's a thing called a 'Morlun'. There's also a superhero registration act.

When you're a comic character who maybe gets lucky 18% of the time, applying real life time and tragedy maybe isn't necessary. There's just no way things would turn out for the better. There's really no way they wouldn't turn out worse.

Just because that happens (and it does, true believer), that doesn't mean an unnecessaryn story is a bad one. It's pretty refreshing to see that Chip Zdarsky has a serious side. This issue is also inked by John Dell, which means it looks as good as Mark Bagley possibly can.

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
