 Is it crazy that I'm kind of enjoying this weird Todd McFarlane/Eric Larsen mash-up Spawn book? Todd's writing is pretty much what you'd expect if you read Spawn in the 90's. The Larsen/McArt combo pays off better. Eric Larsen has always had a knack for ridiculous villains who'd fit in silver age books, and there's an appeal in seeing them fight a classic looking Spawn. NOT GREAT! I want to be clear about that, but with...something. I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
