The blockbuster Marvel event of the year goes full-blown carnage and madness as the biggest and most brutal battle in Marvel's history brings together heroes from all sides. Lines have been drawn, and an unlikely hero will save one Avenger, but they can't save them all. The Siege has begun and it claims its first victim as AN AVENGER WILL DIE!!
Date Available: 03/17/2010
BONUS REVIEW by KIRK JACKSON

This is why Bendis gets the big bucks over at “The House of Ideas” people. After the jaw dropping event that happened in issue 2, you might have been worried that it would be all downhill from there. Have a little faith though guys because every panel in this issue is chocked full of serious action. This is the kind of battle where everything that happens is significant, but there’s so much of it, so entire fights are deftly characterized in only one or two panels without leaving the reader feeling cheated. The most important fights however, do take up much more than two panels. Thor/Sentry is the true clash of gods that we’ve been waiting for. But more than just great fights, Bendis delivers a great story complete with self referential humor delivered by the characters who SHOULD be the funny ones (Spiderman), and a big pay off we’ve all been waiting for!
I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
