BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy
This series had been futuristic in its idea of replacing a police presence with citizens reporting crimes on their own for points. Points get you dollars. Dollars get you noticed. Brian Wood has a prescient eye for good satire and biting commentary. Then I noticed that a version of this is happening across the country with real people calling to report minorities being minorities AS the crime, and I got awfully sad. Without a cyborg at the heart of your story, the satirical and ironic elements don't exist. I'm not suggesting we need actual Robocops so this behavior becomes acceptable, either. I think I'll go read Captain America again... I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
