![]() Awesome. I could leave this a one word review! But to elaborate: these characters and the page layout is driven by something most mainstream comics are missing: passion! Every panel is detailed with love. Every word bubble is bursting with realistic dialogue full of heart. Yet, this isn’t always a fun ride for everyone, poor Gwen (mother mary) realizes more and more every day that this is no life for her son. Heck, she was just a kid when she agreed to become the mother of the cloned Jesus Christ, and her journey is heart wrenching. In this issue we pass a TON of time, beginning with Chris still a toddler, and ending with a rebellious teenager; yet it’s seamless. It’s a BRILLIANT transition. It’s quite a task to tell such a long story encompassing the passing of years…in just 6 issues. And Murphy nails it. This issue was hilarious, heartbreaking, exciting, shocking even. What more can you ask for? It has everything you seek in a favorite series. I give it 10 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
