Standard punishy-type ultra-violence. It's early yet, but this one had an Ennis vibe.
If you missed this title, you'll be happy with this debut issue for the most basic reasons, he's not a Frankenstein monster, he's not in space, nor is he an avenging angel, so you got that going for you...

There are only two Punishers that matter-John Romita Jr's Punisher, and Steve Dillon's Punisher. Steve Dillon is drawing this book. He's the best overall match for this kind of material Marvel has ever found. It reads almost as nice as it looks.
