BONUS REVIEW by Rick Berg
Oh man! Am I glad Nailbiter is back. I skipped the first 15 or so issues of volume 1 until a friend recommended it for the third time, as the third tpb came out. So I grabbed the first tpb (only $10) and was hooked immediately on the artwork of Mike Henderson. He's got a mix of Ryan Ottley's energy, Charlie Adlard's realism and Walter Simonson's sketchiness all mixed up in a tribute to 1980's slasher movies. The original series was Homicide meets Friday the 13th by way of Halloween. Sooo much fun, until it ended. And it ended pretty epically with lots of murder, twists and even some good old' fashioned Scooby Doo'ness. Now it's back and issue two ups the bloody twists and turns as Alice searches for her missing mother and Finch realizes there's more than meets the EYES, in Buckaroo. I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
