 John Layman and Karl Mostert play it smart here. His story blends the flashbacks we need to understand the backstory with the ongoing future story. Sean Bennett has somehow managed to COMPLETELY skewer the future but how? The minor alterations he makes here are really not amazing (except for maybe playing the lottery in the past.) and shouldn't have made a mess. But he did and now he has to fix it. And that's why I'll be here for issue two. The story definitely brings out the reader's curiosity. Which is the first sign of a good book. I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
