BONUS REVIEW by Mike Wall
(W) Mark Millar
(CA) Olivier Coipel
We live in a world where we've never seen a monster, and The Magic Order is the reason we sleep safely in our beds. Magic meets the mob in THE MAGIC ORDER, as five families of magicians-sworn to protect our world for generations-must battle an enemy who's picking them off one by one. By day, they live among us as our neighbors, friends, and co-workers, but by night, they are the sorcerers, magicians, and wizards that protect us from the forces of darkness…unless the darkness gets them first. MARK MILLAR's first NETFLIX comic book, drawn by the incredible OLIVIER COIPEL (Amazing Spider-Man, Thor).

Let me start off by saying that I am a total Mark Millar mark (no pun intended). I have been pumped about this book since only hearing rumblings about it. Mr. Millar has now dipped his toe in the world of magic. Our world has been protected from other dimensions and malevolent magic user by a group call the Magic Order. It has been a family tradition/obligation for centuries. Let me tell you when a family has to deal with something sometimes they are not on the same page.
The art on this book was fantastic. I love Oliver Coipel's art. There is one page in particular with an elder god on it really got me.
I will tell you Mr Millar did it again for me. I think that this journey into the world of magic will be an interesting and fun one. My only problem with the book I had was the last page. I got to it and said "Dammit! Now I have to wait a month!" The only thing better than this book is the James Bond classic "For Whom It may Concern."
I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
