TEE FRANKLIN (BINGO LOVE) and ALITHA E. MARTINEZ (Black Panther: World of Wakanda) team up for a timely horror series from the Deep South! Mahalia runs the hottest spot in all of 1950s New Orleans. The Jook Joint keeps the jazz popping, people bopping… and the women? The women are to die for. There's only one rule: 'Keep your hands to yourself.' But some men think rules don't apply to them, and Mahalia and her coven of slain women enjoy reminding them that they most certainly do.

BONUS REVIEW by Shawn

This book, which features a preface that includes 3 different domestic abuse hotline numbers, certainly isn't for the faint of heart. It's as if the aggregate rage of the #Metoo movement were transformed into a million lifetimes worth of pins, the shoved deep into a 22 page paper fetish. Think House of Whispers if it read more like Dance Hall of Screams. A comic book hasn't been more "right place at the right time" since Captain America punched Hitler in the face. Highly recommended for those that can keep their hands to themselves, anybody that respects everyone, and readers who want to live to see tomorrow.

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
