VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
(W) Al Ewing (A) Joe Bennett (CA) Alex Ross Guest-starring Alpha Flight's Sasquatch! The monster inside Bruce Banner is fully unleashed - in a brutal, bloody battle with the monster who made him. Blood will flow. The truth will come out. There can only be one winner... ...and it won't be the IMMORTAL HULK. Rated T+ Date Available: 09/05/2018
BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy
Mixing in elements of stories told by Mantlo, Mignola, and more, a surprising character makes a reappearance in 'Immortal Hulk' #5. Walter Langkowksi is missing. Missing might be a bit tame. Dead. Yeah, that's a bit worse than missing. Anyway, he's been missing even before he was killed, staying as Sasquatch for longer and longer. Word of advice-DON'T stay as a giant hulking gamma monster any longer than you need to. Bad things can and will happen. Al Ewing does a very nice job of making those things all sorts of twisted when Bruce's very first super villain shows up in at least two unexpected places. Solid monstrous art by Joe Bennett accents and embellishes the writing. This book remains among the very best of a solid crop from Marvel right now. I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
