The brutal, Eisner-nominated series continues as time is running out for Christopher Chance to find his murderer. His investigation into the Justice League International takes a violent turn when Rocket Red comes knocking, looking for his friend Guy Gardner!
Date Available: 10/25/2022
BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

Christopher Chance has discovered that Guy Gardner is responsible for his soon to be fatal poisoning.

Now, the tricky bit here is that he found out AFTER he teamed up with Guy's ex-girlfriend Ice to kill Guy in a manner that can't fully be considered self defense. Tom King works the noir-ish consequences that might provoke to the bone when Guy's good friend Red Rocket brings vodka, flight, and a series of questions that can't be answered honestly. Three people, two conversations, and a dying man who doesn't have any time to spare losing a good twenty five percent of what he has left.

The secret weapon here is Greg Smallwood. His art is light, airy, nearly watercolor in style, leaving the deep dark corners to exist only in dialogue. Its a winning combination.

I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
