BONUS REVIEW by John "Doc" Schaefer

Holy (insert favorite swearword here) Mr. J! I was a little leery of this book. In the new 52 universe, Harley has lost some of her charm. The giggly dingy Harley had to be replaced by a grittier, more *well* real character. Oh sure, she still had some classic Harley moments but the shine had definitely been tinted. Leave it to master scribes Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti to remind us why Harley needs to be more than a member of the Suicide Squad. Completely decimating the fourth wall, Harley's romp through the comic artists' universe is a brilliant satirical look at the history of Harley Quinn. And the incredible line up at artists that joined in to celebrate is mind-blowing. From classic Bruce Timm to Walter Simonson (nice shout out to Walt's wife!) this is an eye-popping extravaganza. And the face to face meeting between Amanda Conner and Harley is abso-figgin-lootly gut-busting! This is a zero issue worth reading over and over! This is a definite 10+ book!

I give it 10 out of 10 Grahams
