BONUS REVIEW by Shanna Berry

We're nearing the end, and I am honestly sad to see this event end. I have had so much enjoyment from this "no strings attached" story, and thanks to some quality minis/one-shots, I'm way more excited about the relaunch.
If you didn't follow the minis, you missed out. Not just on great storytelling, but key plot-points that were necessary. Keeping the main series to 6 issues allowed each reader to dabble around, rather than having to commit to say a 12 issue twice monthly book. But even though it was easier on the bank account, the series falls short alone.
The minis don't just expand the universe: they involve important events that seem to be building toward the end (KID FLASH), or explain past events that led to the war (WONDER WOMAN). That being said: I can't wait for the conclusion Aug 31, along with the beginning of the NEW UNIVERSE with the release of JUSTICE LEAGUE #1!!
FLASHPOINT has been a really fun ride, and here's hoping that it reflects the future; because if so, we're in for a great year.

I give it 10 out of 10 Grahams
