(W) Gordon Rennie

Direct continuation of Simon and Kirby's classic series! Fighting American returns! Written by Gordon Rennie with artwork by Duke Mighten, with a cover by Terry and Rachel Dodson! When the 1950s heroes find themselves trapped in the modern world, how will they handle what society has become, and what dangers will they face? With modern-day villains to contend with, enemies from their past pursuing them, and a whole new world to come to terms with, what daring adventures could Fighting American and Speed-Boy find themselves in now? Goes on-sale October 11th, Joe Simon's birthday!
Date Available: 10/11/2017
BONUS REVIEW by "Doc" Schaefer

While not my favorite Simon & Kirby heroes, the folks down at Titan have really hit the ground running. First off, they literally start the storyline where the original story left off! Chasing the villians into the future, allows for a bit of the cliché humor of the man out of time. But writer Gordon Rennie uses it to enhance the story and also demonstrates he understands the flow of time. And the panel of the two heroes left out in the rain homeless is tragic. Definitely a fun ride.

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
