We've had more random people stop in to our store looking for Fight Club 2 than Star Wars, and Star Wars is our best selling book. The excitement over this book appears to be worth it. The FCBD release is just a primer, recapping the events of the book (the BOOK! not the movie-there's a different ending. I am Jack's parenthetical update.) in a clear, clean way. Cameron Stewart uses a totally different style than he's using on the title based on the ashcan, but what's here is darker and a lot less clean. For flashback humor, it works well. Couple that with Chuck Palahniuk writing strongly for comic pages, and you've got one of the best books for FCBD 2015.

BUT WAIT!!!! There's also a new GOON story written and drawn by friend (if not heir) to the Eisner throne, Eric Powell. This, clearly, is THE best book of FCBD!

Wait wait wait...there's also a brand new STRAIN story?!?!? I won't hold that against the rest of the book. When you're asking for this, remember the first rule. You wouldn't want to disappoint Mr. Durden.

I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
