"WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THE FANTASTIC FOUR?" It's the start of a new era for the Fantastic Four...and they're already in a ton of trouble. Something has gone terribly wrong in New York, and the Thing and Alicia are traveling across America to escape it! But when they stop in a small town for the night and wake up the morning before they arrived, they find themselves caught in a time loop that's been going on since before they were born... That's been going on since before they were born... That's been going on since before they were born...

F.F. is the Action Comics of the Marvel Universe. Once the World's Greatest Comic Magazine, it's one of the few titles that pretty much everybody is hoping will be great. Wouldn't call this debut great, but it was a really solid beginning for the creative team. Extra points for having the stones to write an FF #1 with only one member of the team in the book, although said member is trapped in what's basically "Creepy Groundhog Day". Highly recommended for anyone who can always manage to give the Fantastic Four one more chance, even though they said it would be different the last time. This time I think it really wants to change.

I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
