BONUS REVIEW by John "Doc" Schaefer

While the last Doctor Who special appealed to my "ode to a love of comics" take of the episode, it left me a bit wanting. Perhaps if it were the precursor to a new spin off series featuring the Ghost, it might have succeeded but having both the Ghost and the Doctor crammed into the same story made both characters lose some of there umph. This book suffers from the same problem. The Doctor appears as mainly a means for the Ghost to get to an alternate future to combat his evil nemesis, the Smoke. And then to fill in vital information for both the Ghost and the reader. The story seems to be a good use of the Ghost but the Doctor is a bit of a waste here and it's his book.

I give it 6 out of 10 Grahams
