(W) Nick Abadzis (A) Elena Casagrande (CA) Verity Glass One trip, one time, anywhere in the universe. Where and when would you go? In exchange for the invaluable assistance she offered defending New York - and to apologize for dropping into her life like a tornado! - the Doctor has promised Gabby one trip - just one trip! - in the TARDIS. With the whole universe laid before her, all of time and space, where will Gabriella Gonzalez choose to go? What will they find when they get there - and can one trip in the TARDIS ever be enough? More importantly, with Donna still fresh in the Doctor's mind, can Gabby convince him that he shouldn't travel alone, for just a little while longer? Date Available: 11/05/2014
BONUS REVIEW by John "Doc" Schaefer
It has to be said, the surprise gem of this book falls squarely on the shoulders on the Doctor's newest companion, Gabby. Between her artistic talent in relating details of life in the Tardis and her genuine emotions dealing with her first trip through time and space, writer Nick Abadzis has given us one of the most real companions in a long time. And with Arianna Florean acting as Gabby's sketchbook artist, it's a win-win. Now, throw her into an adventure revolving around a old artist friend of the Doctor's and you have a dynamic read. And while totally unable to translate to the screen, this would have made one heck of an episode for the live series. And that is the truest test of a Doctor Who comic! I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
