 Being a fan of the original series, I was excited to see the reboot of the character. Many of the key elements are still here as the story bounces back and forth in time. But the focus has been shifted to a younger version of the good Docotr going back in time to team up with his younger self. This will appeal to the younger readers as they can identify but it appears to have left some of the dark and more meaningful parts of the original series behind. So while this is entertaining, I miss the Cold War - No Future attitude of the first series. What would you do if your older self showed up at your door with a super suit?
