BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

"Do I have to mention that I don't like wrestling before I review this?"
*puts finger to earpiece*
"I'm being told I do. It will help the positive review seem more real, unlike wrestling."
Yeah, so I DON'T like wrestling. It's an entertainment, not a sport. It IS fake, I mean, they have to advertise it that way now. It boggles the mind. My mind IS boggled. But...
I also LOVE Daniel Warren Johnson. He has an energetic to the nth degree style, a mix of movement, perspective, and line work that while not at all Kirby-esque, brings me back to the King every time I read one of his books. HE loves wrestling, and he's doing a wrestling book, and long/short it is very much worth your time. In twenty two pages you get a varied cast of characters, high drama, presented in an entertainment that requires in its natural form that there be no stakes, elevated to life, death, and afterlife stakes.

And if you LIKE wrestling? You have heroes. You have heels. You have managers. You have training. You have ringside announcers. You have ladders. You have the top rope. You have walk up music. You'll get everything you already like, in a quality comic. This book won't get me to watch wrestling, but it will d*mn sure be on my pull list.

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
