Love sucks. Philo Harris is going to do something about it. After gaining the ability to see the Cupidae that make love work-after a particularly bad drunken decision-Philo ends up going to war with love itself. With a chainsaw.

Ahh, Valentines Day. Known for it's cherubic imagery, long wait times at eateries, and bloody murder in Chicago, this is a holiday for some. Others however, may want to take the red pill and find out just what's what. You don't learn Kung Fu, but you get to see all of the cherubs that are responsible for your love life. Would you feel gratitude toward these beings, or would you be subject to murderous rage? An interesting debut, this issue was a lot of set-up, but it was as fun as it needed to be. Highly recommended for readers who suspect that love may be some sort of scam, and those who harbor violent thoughts about slaughtering winged babies.

I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams
