BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

You'd be forgiven if you're jaded that there's another Dceased series. We had an ending, that ending had some positives, but you couldn't call it happy. So many heroes did not make it back from their time with the anti-life virus coursing thru them. Close the story book, learn the lessons, enjoy the excellent series.

Yet here we are, leaning into Halloween times. DC fully un-coincidentally has Tom Taylor (he wrote all of Dceased) and Trevor Hairine (he drew the original series) back, and...its great. The stakes are so much higher as everything, and I mean everything, like the universe sized version of everything, is on the path to destruction. The New Gods and several more powerful beings were infected during the events of the opening of the first series. While Earth might be on the road to recovery, Brainiac comes bearing tidings of no joy.

Between this series and Injustice, no one puts DC heroes thru worse than Tom Taylor. He's killed nearly all of them once, and some as many as three times. Recommended, if you can stomach being put through the wringer one more time.

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
