DC Countdown to Infinite Crisis #1

DC Countdown to Infinite Crisis #1

$4.00
VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
1st print
This time the real glue to the DC universe is killed and only Blue Beetle can solve the crime. By Geof Johns and countless other Dc writers and artists. Continues into Day of Vengeance and Omac Project mini series.
MOLLY KREEMER'S FIRST COMIC!
Unlike most of my fellow comic slaves at Graham Crackers, I didn't get into comics until much later in life-- in college. After a few people I knew recommended I read Neil Gaiman's Sandman series, that led me into all of the other classic Vertigo "graphic novels." I loved all of them, and kept reading further. But I didn't start to (voraciously) read the monthlies until the Countdown to Infinite Crisis one shot. In fact, I'm pretty sure it was Matt Streets from the Loop Store who first handed it to me. I loved it. It was intriguing and action-packed, and the host of writers and artists were perfect. And even though a few (well, I'll be honest, most) of the characters weren't super familiar to me, I came to care about them immensely through the book. And when that ending came around? Whoa. I was *hooked.* (Thanks, Matt)
