You know that feeling of relief you get when riding in a car with someone whose ability to drive has proven questionable at best and you are nearing your destination? Wow, that was a trip, but man do I want out of this car. Thankfully, the Daredevil fan can find some solace in that at least this issue has action, and a good amount of it. That being said, Diggle has left me somewhat disillusioned by way of the story. I can’t help but feel like I’ve seen much of this before, only done way better. A villain who can split open people’s souls who runs heroine? Way to reach for the stars Calavera. Perhaps next the house of ideas will give us Magneto and his foray into insider trading. The one bright spot here is that we finally get to see Matt putting a little bit of the “super” and “hero” back into this contribution to the genre. I really wanted to hope for better, but after “soul” searching all I can give this is…
