THE SHADOWLAND FOLLOW-UP CONTINUES! He thought he had left his crime-fighting days behind him. In the first Act of Shakepeare’s Hamlet, Polonius preps his son for departure abroad by making a speech which culminates in the well known quote: “This above all: to thine own self be true…”. In DR #2, Matt tries as hard as he possibly can to distance himself from daredeviling, only to end up right in the middle of danger because he can’t turn his back on the safety and well being of other people. If you are looking for a momentary escape from the harsh realities of life that doesn’t involve 7 issues, 15 miniseries, 12 one-shots and 6 tie-ins, this is the way to go.
