Momo Ayase strikes up an unusual friendship with her school's UFO fanatic, whom she nicknames 'Okarun' because he has a name that is not to be said aloud. While Momo strongly believes in spirits, she thinks aliens are nothing but nonsense. Her new friend, however, thinks quite the opposite. To settle matters, the two set out to prove each other wrong-Momo to a UFO hotspot and Okarun to a haunted tunnel! What unfolds next is a beautiful story of young love…and oddly horny aliens and spirits? For mature audiences.

Created by an assistant artist on Chainsaw Man, this book is an antidote for those bored with regular comics. Part X-Files, part old Trigun episode, part high school drama, this first volume is the most fun you're going to have reading a thing this week. This one has it all, kids! Saucy gal full of moxie and a shy tongue-tied student? Check. Creepy aliens looking for banana organs? Check. Insanely fast, shape-shifting demon named Turbo Granny who can possess people but then becomes aggressively despondent and morose? Check. Highly recommended for those who still perch atop the manga fence, anybody who ever thought that the X-files could've gone so much...farther, and those of you that knew it was coming and want to get it before it sells out.

I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
