MINISERIES PREMIERE THE BOYS ARE BACK. CHRONONAUTS returns with FUTURESHOCK, as time-traveling physicists Corbin Quinn and Danny Reilly attempt to conquer the future with their new machine-The Timehawk. A little older but none the wiser, the best friends return for their biggest mission yet!
Date Available: 10/30/2019
BONUS REVIEW by John Robinson

Did you like the first Chrononauts? This is more of the same, except without the Sean Murphy artwork, though Eric Canete does an admiral job. Instead of trying to travel into the past, the boys are trying to travel to the future. It's a very by the numbers time travel story, there's really only so much you can do with this concept, but what I want to applaud here is Mark Millar once again trying something new with releasing all 4 issues of a mini-series on the same day. A first in this industry, I'm not sure that there's an upside - besides testing the waters to see if the comic industry can handle a NETFLIX binge it all once approach. I'm glad to see someone trying something new and trying to find new boundaries within this industry, and all on his own dime. Retailers are allowed to return any unsold copies if this experiment does not work out. Commendable, and a decent read/mini-series. It was fun tackling all 4 issues at once.

I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams
