When Charlie's Angels pick up an assignment to steal a dangerous patent and put it back in the hands of its mysterious inventor, they encounter their toughest counterspy yet: The Bionic Woman, Jaime Sommers. This new series follows two of television's top teams after their programming run and into the 1980s. When the Office of Scientific Investigation is privatized and its patents sold off to the highest bidder, a military contractor looks to take bionics to the battlefield. Will the Bionic Woman be able to protect the patent from the would-be thieves, or will the Angels prevail, mothballing the formula's military applications in favor of medical uses?

The concept of this title is a definite cry out to all of us 50 something year old that grew up watching Linsey Wagner making na-na-na-na sounds when she ran or jumped and waited patiently for the intercom to say "Good Morning, Angels."! And I find it refreshing that this go around we are going with Angels Version 4.0 with Kris Monroe and Julie Rogers joining Kelly Garrett. Unfortunately, the series suffers from two main issues. First, the use of the flirty clichés that were a mainstay of the tv show are hard to suspend disbelief here. The other is the disjointed storytelling. The flashbacks make it hard to keep the story straight. Hopefully, now that the story is started up, we can keep on a forward moving timeline.

I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams
