Grace Briggs looks for alliances where she can, both to stave off the out-of-state Aryan Nations moving into her territory and to maintain the integrity of Briggs Land in the face of legal troubles. ATF agents Zigler and Nolan, who are conducting a terrorism investigation into her family, may be Grace's best bet.

You never know your neighbors until you're in trouble. That's the spot Bud Hillson finds himself in. While excellent, this book has the most revolting thought process I've seen in a comic in quite some time. Bud won't sign over his store to the Briggs' family, so the Briggs family calls in neo nazis. They frame Bud to look Jewish. That, not the assaults against him, are presented as the crime to his neighbors, with Bud in agreement that yes, if he was Jewish that would be awful. It's horrendous, challenging material. I'm concerned we're not going to end up with a protagonist here, just the least nazi member of the family so we can say we hate them, but less than the others.

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
