 Well, here we are at a major reveal in BE! Watch out for the spoilers online... Two issues remain in this season of the consistently thrilling weekly series, and the twists and turns are heaping. #50 explodes with sensational setpieces and character interaction brimming with dreadful suspense. Gotham is on fire, and an invitation is laid out to the Dark Knight bringing us back to the compelling imagery of #1. This is shaping up to be a new Batman classic, and with the announcement of a super-sized issue #52 we have a long way to go until every secret is divulged. This is great stuff, and I envy those who get to read it all straight through in trade paperback as it will be difficult to put down. Bravo to this stupendous creative team for collaborating so successfully, and bravo the Cliff Chiang for one of the most striking covers of the run! Martinez and Fernandez's interiors are profoundly excellent as well! I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
