BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

Given his down and dirty Daredevil, I think it was fair to expect that Chip Zdarsky's main inspiration for his start on Batman wouldn't have been Mark Waid's 'Tower of Babel' and Grant Morrison's 'Batman RIP.' How fully delightful to be wrong. Rather than small scale Bat-Action, these three issues have been small scaled on a GIANT scale, affecting all of Gotham as the majority of the material takes place at Wayne manor, stately no more.

There's an effective callback to Tom King's Batman #1, a doubly effective Set of cameos, and some solid back-up material w/ Selina and a corpse. This book is reinvigorated and you should be running towards it, not away from it. Zur-en-der to it.

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
