VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
(W) Matt Kindt
(A/CA) Wilfredo Torres
A best-of-the-best secret agent with memories he couldn't possibly possess, a mystery writer in her 60s who spends her retirement solving crimes, a man of action with mysterious drugs that keep him ahead of a constant string of targeted disasters, a seemingly omnipotent terrorist organization that might be behind it all... And they're all connected to one man: a science-fiction author with more information than seems possible, whose books may hold the key to either saving reality or destroying it. o A mind-bending story that ties in with past Kindt works (Revolver). o Action, mystery, and altered reality!

BONUS REVIEW by Shawn

If you haven't been paying attention to the work of Matt Kindt, you're doing yourself a disservice. He's been quietly building a fairly massive shared universe with all of his independent stuff. This title looks like a standard James Bond rip-off, but it's so very not. Highly recommended for fans of the criminally overlooked Black Badge, those who think books can be powerful totems that can manipulate the world, and Bond fans who really liked that Idris Elba idea.

I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
