BONUS REVIEW by John Robinson

What If? Marvel assigned A list writers and A list artists to create new Spider-Man tales. Not just a cover, but actual interior stories. Spoiler: What you get is a pretty great comic. Amazing Fantasy leads with a BEAUTIFULLY drawn Michael Cho story, followed up with a GREAT Dan Slott Spidey at the age of 60 yarn illustrated by Jim Cheung! Also Oliver Coipel drawing Spidey! Kurt Busiek writing a sequel to Amazing Fantasy #15 drawn by Terry Dodson! You also get Neil (Sandman) Gaiman and Steve McNiven! Come on! Are there a couple clunkers, sure. Every anthology book seems to have some, but the great ones more than make up for them! What if? Marvel would hire A list creators to write and draw the monthly Amazing Spider-Man book? It used to be you could currently only dream such an idea - but this month you can live it inside this book!

I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
