It's a blast from the past as the original five students of Professor X - Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Iceman, Angel and Beast - are plucked from the past and brought to the present. But what they find, the state that their future selves are in and the state of Xavier's dream, is far from the future they dreamed of.
Date Available: 11/28/2012
BONUS REVIEW by Shanna Wallace

Issue #1 received a less than savory review from yours truly, and therefore I MUST visit the next issue to see if it’s worth the read, or going on the kill list. Gleefully reporting, this book stays on the list! There was so much urgency in this issue versus the ladder, and so many heartfelt moments that really resonates with old school fans and new readers alike. Beast was much more his self in this issue, and where the first issue failed in a few key points to exposition, it’s picked up brilliantly here.

I wish these two issues would have been released as one giant issue, or #1 as a #0. But either way, I’m on board. This was a fun read, with surprising moments, and the possibilities with the future of this series are thrilling. It’s official, I’m hooked.

I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
