Hopefully, the lowest rating I will ever have to give an Invaders book ever. The worst part is that it has nothing to do with Robinson's writing nor with Laming's art. In fact, their creativeness is this issue's main saving grace. That and the implication that even when he was young and called Bucky, Winter Soldier was still a bit of a government tool and sort of a snitch for Uncle Sam. (Hey, Barnes! Didn't they teach you, Loose Lips Sinks Ships!) Robinson does what he does best but the fact of the matter is this issue/storyline reads as if it were crammed up his wahoo by Marvel management. It's cross over time Johnny, figure out what the Invaders sin was. Hey we know, it's a flashback to the 1940's book right? The Invaders caused Hiroshima! Yeah, that's the ticket! C'mon Johnny, whip us up a little somethin'! Luckily, Robinson is talented enough to give us a little something that doesn't suck. And Laming's art is always worth looking at. Hey guys, enough with the multi-issue crossover nonsense. Oh and just for the record, I would have thought that their sin would have been hen the Invaders let that town of innocents die back two or three mini-series ago. Makes you wonder what Marvel's Original Sin is? Doesn't it.

I give it 6 out of 10 Grahams
